Henryk Ożóg (Wysoka near Wadowice 11 I 1956, lives in Cracow) studied 1976-1981 at the Faculty of Graphics of the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, graduated in 1981 in the atelier of Mieczysław Wejman. Educator at his alma mater, currently professor. He runs a studio of intaglio. Since 1984 regularly participates in the International Biennial (since 1991 Triennial) of Printmaking in Cracow. He is the recipient of numerous awards, such as Prize-Prize at the International Biennial of Printmaking, Ljubljana 1991 and 1997; First Prize at the National Open Printmaking Competition, Lodz 1994; Second Prize at the Polish Printmaking Triennial, Katowice 1994; First Prize at the International Printmaking Triennial "Mezzotinta", Gdansk 1995; Prize-Prize at the International Printmaking Exhibition, Portland 1997, Regulation Prize at the International Printmaking Triennial, Cracow 2000. In addition to printmaking, he also does painting.
