Belonged to Lieutenant Novellis (Novelli) from the 76 'hunting squadron in the period 1917-1918, Consisting of: a double-breasted leather jacket, belt closure at the waist, fur collar, interior lined with leopard-print fabric for a quirk of the owner; an original ROOLD helmet, covered in brown leather, 4-section tile, visor, two ear flaps with circular opening, interior with diamond-quilted lining and ROOLD manufacturer's plate; a canvas bag with printed words TEN.NOVELLIS 76 SQUADRIGLIA CAMERI, from which a brass sheet match holder is hung, worked as a kind of trench art, with the word NIEUPORT engraved to indicate a type of aircraft in use at that time and on which the lieutenant had flown. Inside the jacket you can see the pocket with the owner's name embroidered, and some hanging amulets (a tricolor cockade, a small compass, a small skull)
Nice overall, in excellent condition, with acceptable signs of use and age.
